This should come as little surprise to anyone from Port Alberni, or Vancouver Island for that matter. Gerry Fitzgerald, of the Myles/Gerry/Leo trio has just received his 2nd Rookie of the Week accolade in his first season at Bemidji State University.
Gerry and his brothers have been a part of Prep Camp for longer than anyone can actually recall, and now work and train for us every summer. This summer, they will captain groups in weeks 1,2, and 3, and dazzle us with their offensive prowess in the NCAA group in week 4. It’s hard to speak about one and not the others, but today we celebrate Gerry’s amazing accomplishment.
