While we play only a small part in the development of high performance hockey players, we are very proud to acknowledge 77 Pat Quinn Classic participants who will attend the West Coast Hockey Prep Camp this summer. May of these players also attended in previous years. As a contributor to sponsor of Burnaby Minor Hockey’s fundraising efforts at the tournament, we would like to thank them for the opportunity to contribute to this great event. Pat Quinn Classic Highlights Involving West Coast Hockey Prep Camp Participants:
- Trevor Wong (St Georges Hockey Academy Bantam Varsity, CSSHL) – Tournament MVP
- Thomas Milic (Burnaby Winter Club Hockey Academy Bantam Prep, CSSHL)– Top Goalie
- Graham Sward (Yale Hockey Academy Bantam Prep, CSSHL) – Top Defenseman
- Logan Stankoven (Yale Hockey Academy Bantam Prep, CSSHL) and Kobe Verbicky (Yale Hockey Academy Bantam Prep, CSSHL) – Tied for most points in tournament
- Congrats to all our participants who played in the Bantam Elite final, with Burnaby Winter Club Hockey Academy edging out Yale Hockey Academy 2-1 in OT!
- Congrats to Pacific Coast Hockey Academy and all of our past and current participants for bringing home the bronze in the Bantam Elite division!
Pat Quinn Classic Elite AAA Division:
Approximately 60 players who competed in the Pat Quinn Classic Elite AAA division will attend Prep Camp in our Elite Bantam Division this summer, including 25 players from Yale and St. Georges alone.- The remaining 35 players are currently rostered with Burnaby Winter Club, Delta Academy Green, Delta Academy White, and Okanagan Hockey Academy, and Seafair Minor Hockey.
Pat Quinn Classic Bantam AAA Division:
- 17 players in the Pat Quinn Classic Bantam AAA division will attend the West Coast Hockey Prep Camp this summer from teams including, but not limited to, Langley BC, Everett WA, Nanaimo BC, Seafair (Richmond BC) Minor Hockey.
