Today we feature Mollie Fitzpatrick at the 2017 West Coast Hockey Prep Camp, Week 1. Mollie is an assistant coach for the NCAA Div III Norwich University.
At what level did you play?
Before coaching, I was a player for 4yrs at Norwich University.
Why do you come to Prep Camp?
- There is a high caliber of players on the west coast, so this is a great opportunity for me to see and work with these players.
- Prep Camp has had a longstanding history on both the men’s and women’s sides, so I was eager to participate myself!
- There are a lot of other coaches working here that are great at what they do and I am fortunate to work alongside them for the week.
- BC is beautiful!
Why should a player come to Prep Camp?
- The time and energy put forth by the coaches and staff into the daily training and practicing regimen is amazing. The coaches here are invested in developing players to become the best that they can be.
- Having an opportunity to practice and play against other high level players while at Prep Camp is a great way for anyone to challenge themselves as a hockey player and to grow as a person.
- The people you meet. Spending a week here you will get to meet so many great people and make lifelong friends!
