Small differences between Week 2/3, and Week 4 for Junior B players:

We have been asked to clarify the difference between week 4 and the other Junior B weeks.  It’s a great question:
Week 2 & 3 Junior Groups:
– 2 ice times and 2 fitness sessions per day.
– Both weeks feature 2 teams of players that have already played Major Midget or Junior B, trying to make the jump to Junior A.
– Second ice time is a game on Tues & Thurs, and then one game Saturday morning.
– This is our standard Prep Camp format.
– There are some elite midget players in this group that have been scouted and recognized as top level players bound for Junior A, Junior B, or MML in 2014.
Week 4: Junior B Showcase:
– Players must have played a full year of Junior B, or Major Midget.
– One practice and one game every day, Monday to Friday (except Wednesday evening which is an academic advisory seminar).
– 1 fitness each morning
– This week targets players trying to make the jump to Junior A.
There is more of a game focus in Week 4, and a less demanding weekly schedule for older mature players that really push themselves in workouts and practices.  This program mirrors our Junior A to Pro group in Week 4.
