Bjorn Kinding: Former Olympic Hockey Coach Joins Week 3 and 4

NOTE: On June 10, 2015 Bjorn signed to coach Augsburg Panthers in the German Elite League and informed us he cannot attend this summer.  He hopes to join next year…

This is huge, and another example of hockey being a small world.

Bjorn Kinding has been coaching on the international stage for decades.   Bjorn and I reconnected recently through our passion of sharing hockey expertise online.  That internet sure is amazing.  He likes what we are doing, and is joining us for 2 weeks.*

From 1988 to 1990 my father was on the coaching staff of EV Zug, Switzerland.  We then returned home to Canada until 1994.  From 1991 to 1994 Bjorn was the coach of EV Zug.  In 1994 Bjorn became the Director of the Swiss Hockey Federation, and my family returned to EV Zug for another 7 years!  Ok enough about that, let’s let Bjorn’s Resume let it speak for itself.

Make sure you notice the Olympic job with Japan, 20 years speaking for the IIHF, and work with the Canadian, Danish, Swiss, USA and Swedish Hockey Federations, to name a few.  This is a really big deal.
