Luc Pelletier attended West Coast Prep Camp for several years as a player. In 2022 Luc joined the Team Prep Camp Staff as an on-ice instructor. After 2 impressive seasons in the BCHL with the Victoria Grizzlies, Luc was recently offered a scholarship with Princeton University in the NCAA. After wrapping up the 2022-23 season with the Grizzlies, Luc will embark on his college hockey journey and look to major in either Math or English.
This scholarship comes as no surprise to many, as Luc is equally committed to his education away from the rink. He sported a 4.00 GPA in high school all while competing at the JR.A level ,plus he currently is taking college courses and is averaging 98% so far!
We are proud to call Luc alumni and know that with his mindset and work-ethic he will do great things at Princeton.
This is what Luc had to say in regards to the impact that West Coast Prep Camp had on him as a hockey player and as a person.
Prep Camp has had a huge impact on my life and hockey as it gave me a place to go every summer to train and meet new friends. Each year I got to learn so mcuh from various coaches which helped prepare me for my upcoming seasons. Away from the hockey, staying in the dorms helped me learn how to take care of myself and be self-dependent by getting to bed on time, eating enough and making sure I get to where I need to go. Overall, West Coast Prep Camp is a great experience and I definitely recommend it if you want to improve as a player and as a person!
The West Coast Hockey Prep Camp is a life changing experience for all of us. The planning starts the day the last camp ends. We hope you will join us. Time, and space, is running out. What’s holding you back?
